Real life Jurassic Park

A new dinosaur theme park is coming, and it's not on Isla Sorna or Isla Nublar. The new 500,000 square foot Dubi theme park "Restless Planet" will feature robot dinosaurs.

Slated to open in 2008, the park will have animatronic versions of over 40 extinct species.

The parks managing director, Mustafa Galadari says, "The Restless Planet provides a visual, audio and tactile experience allowing visitors to experience some of the exciting things that have gone on in the Earth's history," adding that the effect will be, "Extremely realistic and scary – but at the same time, educational."

They also spared no expense(as John Hammond would say) on the dino's themselves. They have motion sensors, potentiometers, etc. that allow them to follow visitors with their eyes, track motion, color and more.

Sounds like a death trap if you ask me.... Thanks Engadget
